Limited Edition Prints

The Limited Edition Prints have been a very special process for me. 15 years ago I already had the idea to scan my small collages, blow them up very large and then print them. But at the time that was not feasible.

New antique frames

Last January I went to Brussels again on an early Sunday in search of antique frames at the flea market in Des Marolles. I always find beautiful antique frames there. My works in antique frames were sold out in no time in December and January in the Pop Up store in Den Bosch and because we will continue with the store until June, it was time to look for new frames.

POP UP Store Den Bosch

1 Dec 2019: Time for a new adventure!

Together with Alaloes Object & Interieur I have recently been making preparations for a POP UP Store. In a beautiful building in the center of Den Bosch we have set up a temporary shop where my art and the design objects of Alaloes come together fantastically.

Made for each other

For almost all my artwork, I like to reuse things that I find at antique markets, flea markets and in thrift stores. For example, I like to work with paper, old books and photos in my paintings. They are sometimes very personal items of people which are discarded after a lifetime and tell a story.

New York – A dream come true

On Tuesday, April 2, I boarded a plane with my mother and a long-cherished wish to go to New York was fulfilled.

The exhibitions of two artists were the reason to finally visit New York. In addition, I hoped to gain a lot of inspiration and to be able to expand my own frame of reference.

Commissioned work

With all kinds of different materials I have collected, I make my mixed media paintings. Now I was recently also asked if I could make a painting with personal items.

Antiques market Brussels

Sunday morning early bird. At half past 6 I was already in the car on my to Brussels, with a friend who is also a visual artist, on my way to the antique market in De Marollen. She had invited me to go to this huge market where we wanted to be at a quarter to 8 in the morning in order to find the best stuff.

Work Trip Italy

For the first time in eight years a whole week away without my husband and children… I was able to join a friend on a work trip to Italy. She was invited as an artist-in-residence at Novanta90.com and I had the opportunity to go with her and also be inspired by the beautiful Tuscany and to work there.
